The Proximity Hotel in Greensboro, NC is a 135,000 sq ft, nine-story prototype hotel. It is the first hotel in the US to have achieved LEED Platinum. Cailor & Associates devised preliminary framing schemes and contributed to preliminary pricing. We performed 2D/3D analyses for all loads, designed all reinforced concrete slabs, post-tensioned flat-plate slabs, beams and transfer girders in addition to extensive consulting with owner, architects, engineers, contractor and subcontractors.
