The “El Rancho” Student Center Construction was part of a mission trip to near San Jose, Costa Rica. “El Rancho” is within a large precario of housing typically constructed of scraps of metal and wood without any electricity, running water, sewer or other basic needs. The Student Center was being constructed to provide a schooling and tutoring facility for the youth in the precario because they have only limited access to public schools.
